Another type of tool that you can use in your supply list is the spading fork. This tool will let you dig into hard soil and open the ground up for planting.

The hoe is the quintessential gardening apparatus, and is also a very vital tool. Hoes are good for weeding. While a mattock on the other hand will let you dig around trees and shrubbery. Both of these are essential to your gardening supply collection.

Prying bars are very effective for removing large or medium-sized rocks from your garden. This gardening tool will let you get those rocks out of your newly tilled bed without straining your back.

Backaches can be part of your gardening routine if you're lugging mulch, compost or even dirt around in your garden. But one other thing we should think about that is crucial for your garden is a watering system. You can use long-nozzle watering cans to give your delicate seedlings a gentle flow of water, or you can use a garden hose where you adjust the nozzle head to give different settings, allowing you to water just about anything and anybody.

And let's not forget about gardening apparel. Gardening shoes and gardening gloves are a mainstay in the gardening world. These items are actually quite useful mand usually suffer a formidable amount of wear and tare.

There's also a category of organic gardening supply that stands alone by itself most times. Organic garden supply is usually seen as an alternative way to find stuff for your garden. But in essence, it is the healthiest way to go.
