Welcome to the Garden Beginnings website, a resource for the beginning to intermediate gardener. Within these pages you will find yourself taken on a journey of many types of gardening topics, and you'll learn much about them.
We will start our journey into fine gardening with the wonderful and colorful world of flower gardening. Everyone loves to walk by a garden full of flowers of all different colors and hues. Even if you're not into gardening, having a few tulips growing in your front yard significantly improves even a not so well tended yard. And let's not forget the roses.
Some plants can be planted once and they then bloom indefinately at the same time every year. You might already know that we're talking about perennials. For the gardener of all seasons, you'll love our tips on planting perennials.
From there we will cover the extensive topic of gardening supply and give you tips on the best tools to get if you're just starting out. We'll cover gardening apparel as well as seeds and plants. This topic will be covered a bit more in-depth than usual. We will also discover and discuss landscape gardening, and the importance of planning before you start shaping your land for your garden.
We'll then focus our attention on herb and vegetable gardening; two very popular topics with anyone who likes to grow their own food. We'll even cover more complex topics such as horticulture and hydroponics gardening.
For your home gardening needs, we will touch briefly on what a gardening club can offer you, and we will also tell you about a really popular gardening club. We will also examine the world of gardening books as a great resource to find gardening information and tips. We even have our own gardening ebook that you can check out, and it's complete with great gardening tips. Other gardening publications such as a gardening magazine can also be a great resource for finding the appropriate gardening gift for that special someone. And if you rather keep your garden under your roof, we have a whole article on indoor gardening.
We then will be discussing the benefits of hiring a gardening service for those who have less time to work on their garden. These services can definitely make the really major jobs such as setting up an irrigation system or planting a giant tree, more manageable.
